Re: Looking for crystal creek map
Hi NGJ
I was hoping someone else would have been able to help you by now because I am not sure what you need to do.
Firstly - have you found the map in its installed state? Or do you mean you found the downloaded file to install it from?
If already installed - does it not show up when you go into the game's sandbox section? (which will be greyed out until you have a profile where you've played past the tutorial and maybe a little bit of the main game too).

Re: Looking for crystal creek map
Hmmm my delay makes yours look miniscule - sorry!
I may be wrong about this (& would love to be!), but I think that with Sandlot's old servers seeming to have disappeared (see these threads:
https://sandloters.forumotion.com/t77-sandlot-servers-down-or-going-down
&
https://sandloters.forumotion.com/t79-anyone-try-an-install-and-unlock-lately )
and with us therefore apparently no longer being able to use our activation codes, that even if you have one for Westward IV, chances are you won't be able to play more than a one hour demo if it isn't already unlocked (and if I remember correctly, you need to play a little of the main game before the sandbox gets unlocked, so that wouldn't even be an hour spent on Crystal Creek).
If you still have your old computer working, and still have WWIV already activated on that, then you may be able to install Crystal Creek there, but I'm not as sure of where to install it to as some others here may be.
Edited to add....
But if you also saved a download of something called Sandlot Connect (which was free to download on the old site), then that may make it possible to use the SL Crystal Creek install with another vendor's version of the main game.
I'm not 100% sure because, by the time I installed the BF version of WW IV I would have already had Sandlot Connect installed, but if I remember correctly, I think its purpose was just that - to allow versions of SL games bought on 3rd party sites to link with and play the free bonus content (such as Crystal Creek map) that was only offered on the SL site itself.
Sorry that I can't be more specific about how to do any of it .

Re: Looking for crystal creek map
What I have are .exe files. All you have to do is double click on them and they install.

What do you mean 'blocking them'? I have Windows 7. All I do is double click on them, I get the pop-up asking me if I want to install them, I click 'yes' and then they install.
What exactly is happening for you?

It sounds like you need to either go to the Control Panel and change your security settings, or go to Windows Defender and change your settings there.
There's a lot of parts of 'Windows' - you're not giving me enough detail for me to pinpoint what is wrong.

Re: Looking for crystal creek map
Like Pam, I'm looking for the Crystal Creek .exe file (and other Sandbox maps). Is anyone willing to share them or can you point me in the direction of where to find them on the internet? Thanks.
