Unlocking old game

Since the Sandlot servers are no more, and I wanted to move my TWL game to my newest computer (I refuse to play without Ivory!), I found a way to get around the registration process.

Go into the 'bin' folder and use the 'prog.exe' file to start the game.

EDIT: Darn. That bypassed the authorization window, but still closed the game after an hour of playing.

Guess Ivory is lost to me forever, unless anyone has come up with a work around.

No such creature Katie dear, if you and I ( and no doubt Turin , who for some reason his own gave out that I was deceased ) have not found it, it does not exist.I now have nothing but contempt, if not loathing, for SL for the way they handled the situation ( excepting of course Katrina ).

Not really Sandlot's fault - after DC bought them, DC fired all the SL people and closed down their servers.

But now DC went bankrupt, so there's some karma there, anyway.

I did find a cracked copy of Tradewinds Legends: Unlikely Heroes on the darknet so I could play Ivory finally, but any other service (such as Steam) that requires online verification has the same problem. My internet has been out for a week, so I've been unable to play any of my Steam games, which is not a good thing. (Which is why I only buy from Steam if there's an irresistable sale).

A few things.The first being that I was referring to the relatively short interim between the deal with DC being cut and our being informed,not so much the server shutdown which was to be expected.The other that I discovered the version of LedgsUH that you referred to but,though like yourself I am a thorough sweeper,I elected not to dl it.If it works out for you maybe I will reconsider,though if I'm going to "play about" it would probably be by purchasing a PC with the good old XP os so I can play some of my older games from disc.
