    Howdy Westwarders!

Post by zahnprod on Sat Oct 29, 2011 8:05 am

So glad that Matthias set up this forum so we have a place to continue to discuss Sandlot Games.

I was pretty active over in the Westward forums (most notably in Westward IV and Westward Kingdoms). I will try to copy my content from the old SLG forums to the new forum here so it's not lost to posterity.

I announced this new forum over at Gamezebo today, so I hope we'll get some new members from there.

I look forward to seeing all the old gang and meeting new people here.

Gak...Bad dragon, I am casting a +4 Image Eraser spell to remove that picture from everyone's mind affraid . Game design isn't as hard as it sounds ( the equipment and effort equal more than the skill ); so let's get ideas for a similar game of a different name and then go to work on it! Maybe Matthias could make it available here ( though he and I would prefer a new maritime game )

I, too, am so glad to have this forum. It is really sad we won't have a new Westward, but I'm glad we have the ones we have. I've never found any other game that comes close to how much freedom we have in those games to place the buildings where we want and work at our own speed. I love you I guess I just love them.

And, I'm glad you all are here and we can still get some help from the expert players when we get stuck. Even though I've played them I still forget sometimes something I really want to do and had to go read some old posts. Thank you all for sharing what you found in the games.
