I had either never known or forgotten that when playing Odyssey (as with WW Kingdoms ) you can quit the game after achieving a Feat and it will still be on record as accomplished.

Forgotten/missed strategy for Odyssey

Yep, but have you run into the Boom/Bust glitch. Being sent to a port ( either with the first request or when you go to collect from the "mattress stuffers" ) and cannot access the individual. Must be a random glitch and not a bug as it occurs in different places and times in play.
